Hello, just starting a forum for Providence RN Residency Program - August 2025 Cohort, I currently work at a Providence hospital and got the email saying that internal applications opened 5/30 and external opens 6/6. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you

OMG, I got the notification to schedule an interview from Tarzana while I was out grocery shopping. I was able to schedule right away. June 23-25 I think and there were plenty of spots when I scheduled. Good luck guys! Don't give up yet!

Has anybody recently gotten an email to set an interview for providence fullerton or orange?

It's not because you're not outstanding enough, sometimes it's just because limited spots opening at that time. Last time Fullerton only had like 11 openings in total including all the units they're hiring. Last round I applied almost all of those hospitals, Providence, Cedars Sinai, USC, UCI, Hoag, MLK, Memorial Care etc, a lot of them even got interviews but still didn't get an offer. The only one I got was MLK but I was so regret that I was waiting for Cedars Sinai and didn't take MLK, unfortunately I didn't get CS. UCLA has walk in resume services to meet with the recruiter, one of them told me all these new grad positions are much more competitive than expected. Even if you didn't get in, it's OK, start somewhere small and as long as you get more experience, eventually you will be able to get into your dream hospital. Keep applying! 

Can you say more about the walk in recruiting? Is it at Ronald Reagan? I'm a  volunteer there and have not heard about this. Would love to talk to one of their recruiters for advice 🙂 Thank you !

Hello I'm not able to message you either and I would really like some help in regards to their questions. Let me know, thank you. Not sure how else we can get some help on the questions

yes exactly. I have seen other people on here stating they got their email for other locations but I have not heard of externals getting an email for fullerton or orange. im hopeful maybe they just havent sent them out for some reason

I saw I think one person on this thread say they heard back from Fullerton & someone on FB said they heard from Fullerton & Orange (externals)
