  1. so, my boss needs me to put down my work schedule for Jan/Feb 2019. Does anybody know what dates they are interviewing ?
  2. I hope that I will hear something from them soon. This is my first choice, since it's master, not DNP. I just wanna graduate and work, and pay student loan; eventually, will come back to school for DNP.
  3. this is a smaller program. their passing rate is super high- 100% since 2001. i heard it was very competitive. I submitted my application two months ago. Still waiting to hear from them.
  4. Hi guys, I work in a trauma ICU. However, I sometimes float to CTICU, and find it interesting to work in this specialty unit. I've been floated for almost two years. However, I never take care for the fresh open heart, instead of post op day 1/day 2. Today I signed up to take CSC, hopefully, can be transferred to this unit later. I would love to hear your input on how to study and pass the CSC test. thank you
  5. When did you apply ? I am planning to call them
  6. wow ... 40k I'm sure that program is extremely competitive. I know LLU has the highest school fee in US Anyways, Which school (40k) is it?
  7. One of my ex coworkers from a smaller community hospital (MICU) got an interview. I believe I am more competitive than him/her. He/she has no CCRN. KPSA is weird. I am Egyptian. Rumor is that this program does not believe in diversity; not sure if you know what I mean.
  8. I got a rejection letter. Two years in row ... and I don't know what they are really looking for ... so super disappointed . Good luck to everyone
  9. Hi cuddles, Did you apply to LLU too ? what do you mean by saying "colorful individual." I'm wondering if I am not Christian, it will make me less competitive? And also , there's a test called HSRT ? did you have to take it when you took RN-BSN ? How was it? And when are we supposed to hear from them? Good luck to us
  10. IKR , eventhough we are supposed to find out next week, I keep checking my email like every hour . Haha
  11. How many ppl do they pick for the interview? Since it's now DNP, how many spots are there for next cohost ?
  12. I'm afraid that my science GPA is not competitive enough. Do you know what is difference between Priority deadline Vs regular deadline. I submitted my application on Oct, still hear nothing from them. When did they send u an email last year?
  13. I noticed this is the second time u applied to llu. Can u pls tell me about how the interview went ? What did u do to improve ur application this time ?
  14. do you guys know when they will send out the emails/letters?
  15. I think even with 95k+, KP is still very competitive. Much cheaper compared to USC and Loma Linda. USC: 120-130K (DNAP) Loma Linda: 135-140+ (DNP) KP: 95 K (DNP) I hope my letters of recommendation (LOR) are strong enough. I am nervous now since my manager said the unit is very short of staff. Not sure if they want to hold me back by giving an okay LOR. lol
  16. AngieeRN, I couldn't reply your PM since your inbox is full now. :-(
  17. I think every single thing counts
  18. Kpsa offers DNP, not DNAP. DNAP vs DNP: Understanding The Difference | TheCRNA.com - Everything Nurse Anesthesia.
  19. That's competitive !!! good luck to us
