My understanding is that yes, the white shoes are only for clinicals. You can wear whatever color shoes you'd like for class as long as they're closed-toe. I think they can't be fabric for labs through. The chair person mentioned this at orientation....

My orientation was July 11th and I have been complaint since the same day. I was able to register for classes the next week at Medical Campus but it says Preparation - Nursing, RN-Generic (PreS)" for me though when I log in.
