Two days before I received a call with an offer for Mission Hills my portal changed to under consideration for a specific unit and the new grad app was withdrawn. Everybody else I know that got offers got this too! I have not heard of anyone getting rejected with this!

I know interview invites went out for Burbank about a week or more ago. They're holding panel interviews for Mission Hills tomorrow. Unsure about Tarzana.

Providence TIP Program September 2020
Hi everyone. I'm interviewing for Mission Hills for their January 2021 TIP cohort on Friday. The emails I've received told me to be prepared for a case study in the interview. Does anyone have experience with this type of question? I have no clue what it could be as the interview isn't for one specific unit. Thank you!

Providence TIP Program January 2021
Hi everyone. I just got an email ahead of my interview with Mission Hills on Friday. The email said the interview will be basic behavioral questions and one case study. They also advised to have a pen and piece of paper ready. Does anyone know what the case study question could possibly be? The email said the available units were ICU, PCU, Float Pool, Ortho, Oncology, Cardiac Telemetry, Sepsis, Neuro/Stroke, and Sub Acute. Any advice appreciated! I put Neuro, Cardiac Tele, and PCU as my ranked choices!

Providence TIP Program January 2021
Hi everyone, I'm new to this thread! I just got an invite to interview for Mission Hills! I am assuming this is the first general interview because it did not include any units. Anyone have advice? What kind of questions do they ask?

ATT dated for CA?
Thanks! I got an email that they retrieved my community college transcript yesterday so hopefully I'll be approved within the week!

ATT dated for CA?
I checked Breeze this morning to see they had reviewed my application and I had two deficiencies. I heard that they often say there is no evidence of your prereqs on your BSN transcript so I sent my CC transcript last week because I had a feeling this would happen. I also resubmitted a better passport photo this morning. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to review additional attachments?

ATT dated for CA?
Hi all, Quick question, do you get an email when your application was approved by the BRN? I check my status on Breeze every day but I'm still pending. For reference I graduated from a school out of state. Application: 7/28 Graduation: 8/15 Transcripts: 8/28 I know they say the average time is 10-12 weeks but I'm still getting antsy. I've paid every fee and registered on Pearson Vue as well.

USC Keck New Graduate RN Residency Program September 2020
Hi all. Out of curiosity is anyone able to tell me how many cohorts they have per year? Is it just a September and April cohort? I graduate later this month so I missed the cut off for this round of applications but am wondering when my next chance will be. I know Cedars Sinai does four a year but cannot find much info on USC. Thanks!

UCLA Summer 2020 New Grad Residency
Hello all! Before COVID started my plan was to apply to UCLA as part of the Winter cohort because I do not graduate from my program until mid August. I am just wondering if anybody has any new information on the Summer 2020 cohort? If they do end up still going forward with the hiring process, I might apply earlier than Winter because it has been delayed so much. Obviously, I don't expect this to happen with the rising case numbers, but just wondering if anybody had heard anything?

UCLA New Graduate Residency Winter 2019-2020
Thank you so much! Do you know when the onboarding period would be? Is it in March? I'm just wondering because if I was given an offer I won't be moving back to California until late January and just want to be prepared if there are onboarding things I have to do before my start date in March.

UCLA New Graduate Residency Winter 2019-2020
Hello! Sorry to barge in but I had a few quick questions! I'm planning on applying to the Winter 2021 cohort! I'm from California but I might be in Florida from August 2020-Jan 2021. I'm wondering if they offer video interviews if possible? And if once offered a position, is there anything you need to do before your start date in March? I would definitely fly home if I'm able for an interview, but just want to prepare for that possibility in advance. Thank you all and good luck!

CHLA RN Residency March 2020
Hello! I'm sorry to budge into this thread but I have a quick question and thought this would be the best place to get it answered! I'm graduating August 2020 and interested in applying for the program in Winter 2021. I looked on the website but either I'm blind or this isn't listed on there. Is there a specific date one would need their license by during the application process? Or is it just by start date? Thank you all and good luck!

Seattle University Transfer 2019
My advice is prepare for general interview questions, such as your strengths, your weaknesses, why SU specifically, and of course, why you want to be a nurse. Process is short. Also, if you have clinical experience I would try and incorporate that into your answers if at all possible. I always think giving examples to back up your answers is better than just stating something.

UCLA BSN 2018
Decisions came out today! I hope you got good news. I ended up being waitlisted, so not as bad as I originally expected but I can't see anyone turning UCLA down.

Seattle University Transfer 2018
Hi hdak! Good luck with your continuing studies and I hope you have a good shot at getting in! I believe a large part of why I got in was my grade trend and how I talked about my experience working with patients. On my transcript is shows all As and then a few Bs before the summer of 2016. Then I got a C in anatomy that summer! I was absolutely devastated and thought my chances of getting into any BSN program were gone! So, I buckled down and worked my butt off. Every single class after that summer I got an A in, including Physio and Microbio. I know in the online info session they mention that they really look at your grade trend, so I like to think my improvement was a large reason for my acceptance. Additionally, I'm only an intern/volunteer at a hospital and had about 400+ hours over the course a year and a half when I applied. I believe what made me stand out was using my experiences with patients in my essays and conveying why those experiences confirmed I wanted to be a nurse/what I got out of those specific experiences. So, make sure you're really getting everything you can out of your job, and maybe even write down those unique experiences so you can write about them later! When I had my interview, there was an opportunity for me to really go into depth about what I did as an intern at the hospital and they really seemed impressed with how much I was able to do. My impression is that explaining that bit on my resume really enforced my experience because they didn't seem to realize I could do as much as I did when just glancing at my resume. So, make sure to emphasize points that you think make you really stand out if you get to the interview portion! Sorry for the long response, but I really hope this helped! Good luck with your studies!

UCLA BSN 2018
Not yet! But I emailed Mark today asking him about the possibility of me dropping organic chem and he told me he believed the emails would be going out next week! I also asked a blogger I follow that got in as a transfer and she received her acceptance on April 17th. So all signs point to next week!
