About Kiminindy

I stair stepped my nursing career starting as a nurses aid, then LPN, to ASN and now BSN. I have done travel ER nursing for the last few years. From Maine to California. The last assignment ended in February 2016. It was in the beautiful, sunny, wine country, of Northern California. I have been blessed to be included in the activities and family lives of some of the regular employees on my ventures. I hope I was able to convey how much I appreciated the hospitality. Everyone always asks, which state was my favorite. I can’t answer that as they all have something unique and special. I can honestly say the most varied of activities are typically in the coastal states. To the surprise of most, they have farming there! hehe. I love the organic foods..well, I love food and it is starting to show a little. hehe I am now working a full time job in Interventional Radiology and it seems like I may like this! I may get to rub elbows with the surgeons that did my last surgery...that would be kind of interesting and fun.

    BSN premium on the table.

I do know the VA pays a premium for education. BSN, MSN etc. I don't think they view it as being a better nurse pay or doing more pay, but rather showing appreciation for furthering and paying for your own education in the form of compensation. If a ...

    Why or why not CRNA?

I wish I could provide some sort of guidance, but I did not go that route. With that said, I would do it in a heart beat! Just do your research. I great place to start is calling around different schools that offer the program and talk with the progr...
