Hi everyone I am new to this website Im just wondering if any one can help me out. I am a registered nurse and I went on to do my 18 month midwifery course. I completed 16 months of the course (had all 40 deliveries, more than 100 antenatals and postnatals) however due to personal problems affected my performance to complete the course. I really dont want to contact the university were I studied (it's personal) I really want to be a midwife more than anything. I dont know what to do? is there any one out there that can give me advice :stone- failed nursing student
It really touched me when i read your message my friend was a student midwife something she always wanted to do and she had only 2 months to finnish her course and failed a module she was so distraught and after 2 more attempts failed therefore, advised to leave the course. This as upset her so much that she has had to have councelling for depression. I want to stress to you please do not not feel alone this is an excellent website so use it express, your feelings it really does help. You may not feel like this at the moment but you should feel honoured and proud of your self for the care you have given over the years during your many placements plus you will always have the knowledge and skills gained to take you further in the field of nursing. I wish you all the very best for the future xxx:) - failed midwifery
