Hi everyone I am new to this website Im just wondering if any one can help me out. I am a registered nurse and I went on to do my 18 month midwifery course. I completed 16 months of the course (had all 40 deliveries, more than 100 antenatals and postnatals) however due to personal problems affected my performance to complete the course. I really dont want to contact the university were I studied (it's personal) I really want to be a midwife more than anything. I dont know what to do? is there any one out there that can give me advice :stone

Unfortunately you are probably going to have to discuss the situation with someone at your institution.
You don't say where you are posting from, but in the USA you must list all previous colleges/universities when you apply to a school. If you fail to do this you risk being ejected.
People have personal problems all the time and often this affects their school performance. An admissions counselor may be able to assist you in rectifying your situation...
I hope things work out for you!

It sounds like you are going to have to talk to the univeristy you did your training at. I am almost done with my program and can't imagine not graduating after doing all the work. Unless you want to do it all over again somewhere else, hopefully you can find someone to talk to who will help you. You would think they would want their students to succeed.
Good luck!

You can discuss the situation vaguely, can't you ? Seems to me that you've worked REALLY REALLY hard to get where you are at. All those hours you've spent on school could've been spent with your kids and family, YOU ALL DESERVE to see you graduate, right ? What about the money you've spent on school ? Are you willing to throw all that away ? Go to or call the school. I'm sure somebody there will understand your situation.
Best of Wishes!
