How do I find out if someone has medicare days left if accounts payable doesn't know

the web site says the patient has 100 days but how do you find out if the patient has exhausted medicare A for a g-tube. we received resident from a facility that is being shut down by the state. we have no idea how long resident has had g-tube place...
