It can be done. I worked full time during summer/winter breaks and worked weekends&Holidays during session. I wouldn't advise FT during session though.

This is so true!...The first time I ever failed a test was in nursing school. It took me a very very long time to digest that...But the beauty of nursing school is that you come out of it humbled!

Yes...buy the textbooks you will keep throughout the program and rent the rest. it's way cheaper. I think MedSurg is a keeper but also think about after you graduate..(I still use my pharm book as réf) if you like to work in L&D, Peds or Psych k...

It depends on the program you apply to but also on YOU...I know life can bring you down sometimes but you need not to give up. No can do anything about the past but can learn from it and change yourself for a better future. Now, how bad do you want ...

I know this because I got a CNA training at a LPN school..(Nosy me tried and passed the LPN entrance test with Flying colors then). I know the curriculum at least for that school...and I know this because I had few LPN in my RN program..some were new...

I'd love to work in a CVICU but I'll take Neuro ICU....working on patient with MI, HF, Heart Surgery....My dream job definitely would be ACNP specialized in Cardiac and Neuro if possible.
