Hello everyone! I'm new to this website and I'm planning on applying for Spring 2016. I know we still have a couple months before the application opens but I'm anxious! I've been looking forward to applying and can't wait to get going. Anyone else ap...

I signed up for the class given through Sac State's Continuing Education dept. If you're already a student, you can get a discount (cost of $35). I'm taking the class next Saturday, the 19th.

Thanks for this information! I know in previous semesters they've had some sample scrubs to try on so we could know what size to order. Do you know if they have that now?

During our 2nd, 3rd & 4th semesters, we have two classes each that require clinical hours, so I'm assuming that's where we'll get closer to the 500+ hours.

I'm not sure but we could probably get a rough estimate based on one clinical day per week (around 8 hours) and since we start in week 2 or 3, I'm guessing approximately 100+? Just for the first semester.

I have to say I'm glad that we'll have the decision before next Friday. Fewer days to stress out. :) I keep replaying my application in my head and I'm worried that I overlooked something. But, it's too late to do anything about it now. Good luck to ...

Thank you so much for giving us an insider's view of the program! I know, for me, that knowing what to expect has been one of the most daunting parts of this process. What books/websites would you recommend to get a jump on the medical terminology an...

That's awesome! I'm still waiting on one more transcript from out of state before I send mine in. When they say to register for classes, that just means, when your registration time comes up, don't pass it by. Register for whatever you want (your 2n...

Ok friends, I have a question about how to fill out the application: I took a number of my pre & co-req's at other colleges. Some transferred directly, some I had to petition. On the application, which course number do I put, the one from the oth...

Glad to hear that the points cutoff was lower than anticipated. Good luck with Chem! I've already taken physio but it was at an out of state college and didn't include a lab. But, I think I remember enough to do well. Stats is the one I'm worried ab...

Hello! Thanks for responding. I know what you mean about the points cutoff. I wasn't thinking it was going to jump that high from spring to fall. I'm applying with 89 points. The good thing about the spring semester is there tends to be less applica...
