Hi! Okay, so sounds like you haven't heard anything yet either. That makes me feel better haha. What floor are you a CNA on? I had < 40 hours peds clinicals, b/c of Covid, but I worked inpatient pediatrics for 8 years as a tech (CNA). I'm changing careers/finally going to nursing school! I lived in Seattle the last 4 years for my job (research) and moved for my 1 year ABSN program, but I really want to come back to Seattle! What floor are you on? What unit did you put as top choice?

Hi everyone I wanted to start this thread for applicants of the Feb 2022 cohort at Seattle Children's. As the application closes today, I'm hoping we start hearing whether we received an interview or not. If you applied, did you apply to the Acute Care or Critical Care track? Also, did you have clinicals at SCH or do you work at SCH already? Fingers crossed!

Awesome - congrats to all of you! I graduate early Dec & plan on applying as soon as app is up. Will you all be doing standard 12 hr shifts, and are you straight nights or rotating? (just curious what the typical is) Thanks everyone & congrats again. Also, for those out of town, I lived in Seattle for the past 4 years before moving last year for my ABSN program (& I want to go back!). Happy to chat about the area!

Received an email at 3:18pm Eastern - my last name begins w/ L. I am currently in a state of shock. I got PICU, which was my #1 choice! I have waited over 10 years to go back to school, trying to talk myself out of it, but nursing is my dream. I can't believe this is all finally happening. Did anyone see anything about cost for the housing option?
