I think that depends on which state you are in...and which hospital you have your clinicals in. I remember when I was in nursing school....we weren't allowed to push ANYTHING at one of the hospitals...yet another one let us push meds....so I think it...

Very true..and the staffing is GREAT...because there's no sick leave....so nurses aren't calling in all of the time.

She was receiving both Antibiotics and IV fluids...I can't remember which antibiotic it was...but it was Q day...and given on day shift (i work nights...so that's why I can't remember...)

All I have to say...Is that I think it'd be beneficial for every nurse to start out as a CNA. While I was still in nursing school...I worked as a nursing assistant on a med-surg floor and boy...I can tell you...that was THE HARDEST JOB I have EVER ha...

Probably....because there are a lot of older RNs ...who are getting ready to retire..I wouldn't mind the pay though!!! :) We do get pretty nice perks already (but a little more money never hurts though!) I just graduated from nursing school May'04......
