  1. No MOA on my end but my last name is nearly dead last in the alphabet haha. Congratulations! Did you join our facebook group?
  2. Please excuse my post. I was accepted to UCF this fall. Apologies for any interference.
  3. I'll try to register for May 15 too once I'm able!
  4. Oh boy. I'm almost entirely relying on financial aid (grants and loans blah blah) to pay for supplies and tuition. I hope I can still cover most of my expenses! Hemorrhaging money, I say! At least I can get shoes and stethoscope without using FA haha yowza.
  5. I don't have my immunization records or titers done at the moment but I believe I can get the records from my old high school. If not oh wellll titers time whenever I go have the physical etc. I'm suuuuuper glad we have a lot of time. My household is going to be hemorrhaging money this summer getting ready for this ahhh lol. I think we should totally make a facebook group too!
  6. Don't worry! I totally get it but, I mean they have to say conditionally because we have to be sure to have like, all prereqs done and our immunizations etc etc before we are officially admitted. It's not like we can retroactively fail a previously taken class or the TEAS or anything I'm pretending it's already official because it makes me feel good haha. Still riding the high of getting that email!!
  7. Thanks. My last name is way near the end so that makes me feel better haha. I sent a second one just in case right before I saw your post lol.
  8. I haven't gotten my confirmation ahhh!
  9. April 10 could be doable, if you want. Buuuuut let me make sure I can secure the $50 (ugh) before I commit to that haha.
  10. I don't have a specific date picked out just yet but there's no reason we can't plan for the same day!
  11. I am. Held off until I got the email haha.
  12. I think you could, you might have to do some talking back and forth with the CoN administrator people but I fail to see why you would be disqualified or something lol. You should email to inquire about it before accepting/declining!
  13. I know!! Like that email saying early April and all that, for just a second I thought the acceptance email was a prank haha.
  14. I wish you luck in getting off that waitlist! I think a lot of people made it last year so I bet you will, too!
  15. Yeah, I'd love to know guys!! Also, since I see a bunch of guests reading the thread... Join the forums and talk to usssss! It'd be so nice to kinda sorta pre-know possible classmates!!
  16. Congratulations!! I had to read it like 3 times to make it real haha omgggggg how exciting!!
  17. I just got an acceptance email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. 3 more weeks max, I believe! I'm calmer about it just because it's been 5 weeks but still pretty impatient haha.
  19. Say what? I had no idea the concurrent program was shortened... is it really only 5 semesters?
  20. Well there are multiple campuses. The nursing program with Valencia is held on West Campus which is about 21 miles away from UCF BUT if you are doing the dual enrollment ASN-BSN concurrent program thing, UCF's portion of classes is almost entirely online I think.
  21. I've been at Valencia for some time, just finished my AA like two weeks ago. I don't want to be biased haha, but really from what I understand both Seminole State and Valencia have amazing nursing programs so either one is a great choice. I do believe their ASN prereqs differ slightly but not by much.
  22. I don't know if this is what you meant but they both offer an ASN and are both partnered with UCF to offer dual-enrollment concurrent ASN-BSN programs. Also it makes me more concerned that I did get an email since it was outlining other options available should a student not get accepted to UCF's traditional BSN lol.
  23. I received that email stating early April as well. Sooner would most definitely be better haha!
  24. Old thread but curious if anyone was still actually starting in summer 2015? I may end up being in the program this May and it would be nice to know future possible classmates.
  25. I saw it as well. I'm going forward with my Valencia summer term ASN program compliance stuff... Both options are amazing but I don't want to put all my nursing school eggs in the one UCF basket and risk being left in the cold haha. If UCF accepts me I'll have a little time to decide whether or not to pull out with Valencia. This waiting is mind numbing!
