Does anyone know if loans from the school will cover housing off campus if I have to rent if I'm not placed? Might be a silly question but I'm so clueless about this

@veronica_123 I am also planning to dorm. If you are a new student at SB or a commuter, you have to be put on a wait list to get placed. I am also hoping to be placed otherwise my commuting will make my schedule extremely strenuous.

You should already have your solar information. When you get accepted the only thing that changes is you get a tab saying "New Student Preferences"

xhelenaaax From what I was told by the School, I think everyone stands a fair chance. Stony Brook students do not necessarily have a higher chance of getting in compared to students who are coming in from different schools!

Well, I guess we have to wait till tomorrow or the day after.. or till the next week Goodness! I have never waited such long for something. This is definitely teaching me much about patience.

Seriously. The amount of times I have logged into my email and solar is just not healthy!! Every time I get an email, my heart flutters. I feel crazy.

Oh that's great! I was interviewed March 6th with 4 other students. It went really well in my opinion. Hope yours did as well. But yea, good luck to you and God willing, we will make the cut. :)
