  1. Oh, thank you so much for replying! That was really helpful. I wonder if I have a chance... Hmm. I also graduated with my BSN last year, but I have BLS and ACLS certs already. I haven't worked as a RN yet, though, since I just passed 2 months ago (a...

  3. Hope you don't mind if I ask, but when did you graduate? Do you have any other certifications? Like BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, etc? And have you worked as a CNA or LVN before? I wonder which specific qualifications Sharp is looking for... Hmm. :stone
  4. Really? Now I'm worried... I applied to Sharp Chula Vista and Coronado. I've heard that Sharp Coronado will only take in about 3 for the new grad program; not sure how accurate that is, though.
  5. Have any of you heard from Sharp yet? I recall reading somewhere that they'll contact qualified applicants for interviews by November 13. I haven't received any calls yet and I'm starting to feel really anxious...
  6. Sharp Hospital New Grad Application

Would it be a bad idea to email my cover letter and supplemental information form, and fax my recommendation letters and transcript? :| I don't have access to a scanner for my recommendation letters and transcript... Btw, just curious... To which cam...
  7. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

I totally agree. Even when I was still reviewing for the NCLEX by answering the practice tests (on Saunders and on NCLEX-RN 3500), I found that the first answer that I chose would most often be the correct one. But every time I double guessed myself ...
  8. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Congrats!:yeah: That was fast, though. At least you didn't have to fork out extra cash for the quick results, huh? :chuckle I wish California participated in the quick results thing, too. I don't know how I can wait for a few weeks more to get my res...
  9. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

It took about 4 and a half hours since I finished my exam before my status turned from "Ready For Delivery" to "Delivery Successful". Those were the most stressful and most nerve-wracking 4 and a half hours of my life. LOL. Well, I'm so glad this is ...
  10. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

OMG OMG OMG I just tried the PVT and I got the pop-up! :hpygrp: Now I have to wait for the letter or for my name to show up on the website... :stone
  11. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Just got home... I took the exam in 50 minutes, and the computer stopped after 80 questions. I checked the Pearson Vue website and the status still says "Ready For Delivery". It's doesn't say "Delivery Successful" yet. I hope that's not a bad thing. ...
  12. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Hi Jannele! Welcome to this thread! I'm in the same boat as you... I'm also a Filipino, April 2008 graduate. But because of my citizenship, I wasn't allowed to take the NLE in the Philippines. So here I am, getting ready to take the NCLEX on the sam...
  13. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

I'll be taking it at 12 noon... I looked for the latest possible time (I'm not a morning person ) when I scheduled my testing date. Anyway, good luck to you! This is my last study day too, must get more information packed into my brain today before ...
  14. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Same here. I am SO ready to put all of this studying behind me. I was never really fond of studying, even in nursing school. I'd just browse my notes and then take my exams (which I did okay in, surprisingly, haha). I've never studied or prepared for...
  15. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

    Hahaha, same here!:chuckle
  16. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Ok, got it! And thanks! I really do lack some confidence right now... It's my first time taking it and I have completely no idea what to expect of it. But I'll just study as hard as I can and pray and hope for the best. *crosses fingers* :chuckle Th...
  17. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Okay, thank you very much! I was wondering about this for the longest time... Btw, are you Filipino? Hehe
  18. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Oh, ok.. But what if I don't have Kaplan or Hurst? All I have is Saunders (plus the online NCLEXRN3500 questions).
  19. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

I just have a question... If I answer questions on the Saunders CD, what exactly would be a "good" score? :\ I keep getting scores in the high 60's to high 70's (sometimes I get low 80's) and I'm not sure if that's good enough. I do set it so I get ...
  20. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Is anyone else here taking the test on the ninth? I just noticed that it's 09/09/09... (Yeah, I'm so slow. Haha.) Hope it'll turn out to be a lucky number for me. :) Anyway, good luck to everyone who's taking it tomorrow! You'll all be first in line...
  21. California's 2009 New Grad RN Program- Who's hiring right now?

hi HireMe! I'd like a copy of the list too... ... thanks!
  22. Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

I'll be taking the NCLEX-RN for the first time on Sept. 9th and I'm nervous as hell! I've been reading Saunders... I'm at chapter 53 already. Somehow I find it difficult to remember all the meds but I'm trying! I also answer questions on Nclex3500 (a...
  23. California's 2009 New Grad RN Program- Who's hiring right now?

Well, I didn't apply (because I haven't taken the NCLEX-RN yet - just got the eligibility letter from the CA BRN) so I'm not exactly sure how. But you go to the Scripps website (http://www.scripps.org), then you click "Careers" on the top right of th...

Scripps Chula Vista has an ICU RN training program that is due to start Fall 2009. :) Here
  25. Which BON to apply to?

Good day to everyone... :) I'm planning on taking the NCLEX next year (since I'm a year away from graduating with a BSN). But I've been thinking about future career plans already... I'm planning on working in California, since I have relatives there...
