Hey who else applied to this program? Does anyone know when we will hear back from them? I know all the materials are supposed to be in by November 10th if we get an interview but I haven't heard anything yet.

UCLA also pays overtime after 8 hours of work. And according to the glassdoor a nurse with 3 years of experience there has their base pay of $40/hr but reading their contract online it sounds like it's actually $47.15/hr

I find glassdoor.com to be really accurate. It says about $36/hr which seems really low for los angeles. UCLA and Cedar's Siani pay way more. But CHLA has great reviews!

What are the ONS guidelines? Or where can I find them? Do they apply to pediatric oncology nurses too or does APHON have their own standards?

What precautions and protocols do you guys follow? What PPEs do you wear? Masks and goggles? Do you double flush toilets? Where masks? Double glove? Are there signs on doors for when patients' have received chemo within 48 hours?

I would love answers to those questions as well! Also how were clinicals set up? Did they help you find a preceptor? Did you get to choose the areas?
