Hi, Has anyone used this agency based in London to make the move to the USA recently. Lots of pre retrogression posts but not much since. I am in a good position ans just need a job. Any experiences shared are much appreciated. Thanks!

Look at other states for your first license ie Florida or Georgia and then endorse to CA.

It depends where you work in the US. 12-14 days + public holidays is standard.

Honestly I work for the NHS also and still think that I need my partners private insurance also. The NHS is good at Primary care but if you need anything beyond that then its pay or wait! I think my original point was to look at what nurses here payi...

I pay about £180/year

CA is by far the better deal. CA $140 licence every 2 years v UK £120 every year. Plus as a percentage of earnings it is significantly less to be registered in CA!

Regarding the job shadowing. Many facilities won't allow the general public shadow staff in clinical areas due to patient confidentiality. Call a few to see.

Read the Francis report recommendations and mention it in some way if they don't bring it up. Good luck:up:
