I bought the full version too and did all the questions. Thought it was a huge help.

I was successful with Hurst. Either way, asking people which is the best will depend so much on their own personal experiences. It's less about the review, I think, and more about how you choose to utilize it.

I got the NCLEX Mastery app and I loved it. My overall score ended up being a 62% and I passed NCLEX in 75 questions.

My results were on hold for 2 days, then I got the good popup, then I passed. On hold doesn't mean you're out of the game yet! Keep your head up!

I think for being so far out from school, Hurst would be good.

Hurst tells you to not freak out about your scores for a reason, but yes I think you're okay! I passed NCLEX on Monday with 75 questions and my scores ranged from 77-89. I think the questions and rationales from Hurst were extremely helpful.

I passed in 75 questions and my hurst scores ranged from 88-89/125 correct. don't freak out about your scores! I loved hurst but I found when taking the test that memorizing the core content will only get you so far, you have to be able to critically think (which of course, is easier when you know the core content).

I would say you are easily on the right track haha. Be sure to take some time to relax too between now and your test.

I also suggest to start thinking about clinical experiences that really stuck out to you. I got asked a lot of questions about times where I went above and beyond, used critical thinking, relied on teamwork, etc.

Hi there! I'm a new grad who actually just got hired in the same specialty. A lot of the questions were the same general kinds of questions you'd probably get in any interview. The others were, of course, why I wanted to do peds hem/onc, and another was how I felt about working with terminally ill children. Overall, mostly situational questions "what would you do if..." "think of a time when...". My unit has an extremely close knit group of nurses with low turnover so they also wanted to see how I dealt with conflict and how I felt about teamwork. hope this helps and best of luck to you! I hope someone who has experience in actually doing the interviewing can help back me up here! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world getting to start my career with my dream job :)

I can't tell you what kinds of questions you're going to get related to your specialty, but just know that most interview questions will be situational. "what would you do if..." "think of a time when..." Other than that, be confident but approachable. If you feel and look professional, you'll probably act professional. Take it easy, they know you're nervous.

If you want more questions, I used the NCLEX Mastery App and loved it. You'll be just fine. I walked out convinced I had failed, but just paid for quick results and officially passed :) you got this! Keep us posted!

Here's my story! Took the test on Monday, and it kicked me off in 75 questions (at which point I panicked..). I was always a B student in school and never thought I would get minimum questions. On the drive home, called my mom sobbing, so convinced I had failed (aren't we all good at that?!). As soon as I got home, I did the PVT and it said my results were on hold. I panicked more. I think it happened because I finished in around 40 minutes. After over 24 hours, I got the good pop up. I fully expected to wake up and see my license on the website this morning, since all of my friends that tested on Monday got theirs. Sadly mine wasn't listed. Again, more panic ensued. Finally, I had the option for quick results, and went ahead and paid for piece of mind. I PASSED! My license should be posted tomorrow! So this is to say, if your results are on hold, remain calm!! If you feel like you're 100% sure you failed the test, also keep calm!

I feel like if Hurst didn't work for you, Kaplan might not be a quick fix either. What were you lacking in?? I did Hurst and was successful, but I also did about 1500 questions from other sources since I felt like six 125 question quizzes were not enough for me. I think the extra questions combined with Hurst made all the difference for me.

Just wanted to let you know that I used Hurst, took my test on Monday, and haven't officially passed but am getting the good popup from the PVT. Never thought I would be a 75 questions girl but I was! I agree that I wish I had more questions, but overall I thought Hurst was great. The questions on NCLEX are hard, and for each one I had to spend time breaking down the question and answers, but it was easy for me to apply the basic stuff from Hurst to eliminate answers.
