    You absolutely did the right thing. In our school, only an RN or LPN can administer the Diastat, no UAP's. It's really the parent's fault for not bringing this to the school's attention sooner....

    I have heard, many times over, about how an LPN "works under" an RN's license, and many RN's don't like that. LPN's have their own licenses, and are supervised by an MD or RN, so how does that work...

    Yup, I'd ask for MD documentation for that. I do notice some children are a bit low, but I always follow my school's guideline - if >100, they go home. Anything else, I'd request something!...
