Anyone applied to the LPN to RN program at GTCC? I officially submitted my application yesterday and am a nervous wreck about getting in. Can anyone relate?

I think there are a few instructors that are tougher then what most people are accustomed too but I hear the program is great and really gets you prepared to be an RN. Did you get your letter?

Yes, letters have gone out. You might need to call the school and confirm they have the correct address on file for you.

I'm going to be on pins and needles all afternoon here at work. I can't wait to get off...I bet traffic will be horrible

I just left GTCC's campus and was advised that the letters will go out this afternoon OR Monday at the latest.

Which program are you more interested in? With those points I'm sure you'll get into both.

She told me that when I submitted my application on Jan 24.

She told me 3-4 weeks. I hope it's sooner.

I know it's only been a week but I'm already stalking my mailbox LOL

I'm working full time at a physcians office and EOW at a long term care facility. I can't wait to work at the hospital...I want to be an ICU nurse and ultimately work as a travel RN.

Yeah I was told the same thing at GTCC, unfortunately for me with the new criteria I only have 36 points at GTCC so I am relying on a miracle. I have 158 points at Forsyth. The stress is real 😳

I don't know anyone; Ive been trying to get information as well. So you applied to Forsyth too? What were your ranking points for both programs?

How long did you have to wait to get an appointment for your CPNE?

I love them. I wear them at work ( doctors office and when I'm working as a massage therapist) and at clinicals. They really do make difference in my opinion.

Hello everyone. We were advised during orientation for my program that starts in January that we will not be getting traditional books. Our primary books with be eBooks and that we will not be having "lectures" but rather will be getting power points...
