From the submission of ALL documents and the receipt of green card, it took about 4 months for me. I use Texas service center. My case filed at the begining of October.

I agree with DOminion, we cannot rely on the date on USCIS website. My I-140 approved 2 months before the date on website. My I-485 approved 3 months before the date on website......... immigration processing time is quite unpredictable.

ans question #1: my ead came 2 weeks after filing application. the start date on my ead card is before the approval date of my i-140. also, my i-140 is approved after they mailed my ead card. therefore, ead card can be processed before i-140 approval...

Yes.. They are very quick for I-140 but you still have to wait for I-485 approval to get greencard. I have been waiting for almost 4 months now. Hopefully, I will hear from them soon.:)

I called FBI and they told me that they sent the result of my fingerprint back to immigration within the same day!! Seem like all I can do now is to wait. I keep checking the status online everyday now.

Actually, just since the very begining of the october 2005 and my I-130 was approved about three weeks afterwards. I don't know why the process is so quick. But I am not the only one that get it done quick though. I was quicker than this a few months...
