I've always heard lots of good things from friends and relatives about Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, but I know no nurses or other hospital staff who work there. What's the environment like? Are nurses there treated well? Does 1199 or ANA ...
Which hospitals in New Jersey participate in the Baylor program? From what I understand, the Baylor program allows nurses to commit to working two 12-hour shifts on weekends only (Saturday and Sunday). For agreeing to work every weekend during the c...
Was wondering if anyone on the boards ever lived in the hospital provided housing that Columbia Medical Center offers hospital employees? I know they have many apartments in the Washington Heights area. How are they? Are they well-maintained? Was th...
Can anyone here provide a listing of the advantages/disadvantages working for Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC)? Some people have raved about their benefits plan -- how is their benefits plan superior to other hospitals?
I'm about to finish my BSN, and I'd love to hear feedback about Yale New Haven as an employer of new nursing grads. Also, a friend of mine told me that nurses at YNH have just been unionized. Is this true?
