  1. Hi thanks for that info.. i actually worked in Saudi arabia for 4 years. Do you think they will count that one? I'll take note of that I know theyre one of good hospitals here in vegas. I hope they have openings.. Do you know how much is the rate of your friend per hour? (just wanna have an idea)
  2. Hi Nevada Nurses... I just passed the nclex rn exam recently. Im a foreign graduate and has 6 years experience in ER. Just wanna ask which hospitals here in Henderson/Las Vegas have good pay rates and benefits.. I relocated a month ago so Im still unfamiliar with the place and Im currently searching for a job.. Need some advise.. Thank you.. :)
  3. I dont have to my dear. Ive been a nurse for 6 years. Out of US. But I have never been so arrogant and boastful of what I know. Last time I checked your comments in this post do not warn other members about PVT. Its about your "feelings" for people doing the PVT and reading posts like this. Just leave my dear. :)
  4. Sorry about that. Yes I just knew I passed yesterday :)
  5. Oh that wont happen my dear. Just move on and stop pestering this thread. :) We don't want arrogant people in here. :) Oops before leaving take your negativity in this thread with you.. Bye :)
  6. I did my dear. How would I knew that thing if I didnt read. JUST RESPECT OUR DECISION. You didnt do PVT? Thats ok. We dont really care at all. But for us who did it we knew the risks and consequences. Just dont belittle us and comment in this thread saying silly things and belittling other members.
  7. Yes. Why bother reading if it doesnt catch your interest. Best example is our conversation. I bet nobody would try reading this since it wont benefit them at all.
  8. Oh I tell you they know. But even if they use the search bar and navigate the site the answer they are looking for won't appear in a snap.. Some have no patience to read, unlike you who spend all day just to read threads that make your head ache.
  9. Well probably you're really an active member here in this site. Yes you're an expert in this "field" but that doesnt give you any right to belittle people here especially if they're just newbies. You should be INTELLIGENT enough to understand them. You passed the exam right? So I believe you learned that in school.
  10. Unfortunately not everyone else here is patient enough to read posts with hundreds of comments. Though they can use the search bar to find a topic, you can't expect them to read every single comment just to find the answer they are looking for. Tendency is, they make new posts and wait for answers hoping to recieve an instant reply. Maybe you're too patient in reading threads that makes you familiar with all the topics especially about PVT. Well that's your case and not every member is just like you. So you have to adjust since you are the expert one.
  11. Well not all people here know how to use this site. I myself has difficulty making a new thread. We cant assume that everybody here knows how this site works. Yes you know how to use the search bar. And yes you know everything. The thing is, you cant stand the sight of PVT thread. So why do you have to comment in every single thread in here.. Its causing you terrible headache and we can't do something about that. Just read something else. :)
  12. Then you just have to keep your eyes closed whenever you see threads talking about PVT.. Its not good for you. Remember be therapeutic. Silence is one of the best ways :)
  13. We cant actually force people to do things the way we did because we thought its the right/safest thing. We have different perspectives. PVT is not reliable. Ok. And yes we are free to warn them about its risks. But sad to say we cant control others mind and tell every single person here to not do or do the PVT. Its their choice.. Lets just be happy for those who did the trick and passed. But for those who had a negative experience about it they should know the risks before doing so. Choice is a choice. They must face the consequences. As for me I did the PVT knowing the consequences. Its my prerogative then.
  14. Well you have to learn how to endure it and be used to it. Thats too bad for you..
  15. I used deactivated card and entered incorrect data and proceeded to the submit order page. My order did not lead me into the final page, it didnt reject my card so I believed I passed. I know its not accurate but still I did it. Theres nothing to lose anyway if you use a deactivated card. :) Nevertheless, we passed :) Kudos
  16. You must have entered the correct info on your credit card, did you? I just used deactivated card and entered incorrect data and proceeded to the submit order page. My order did not lead me into the final page, it didnt reject my card so I believed I passed. I know its not accurate but still I did it. Theres nothing to lose anyway if you use a deactivated card. :) Nevertheless, we passed :) Kudos
  17. I know right! I believe I amm just more prepared now than the first time I took it. Its really possible to encounter easier questions and nail the exam :)
  18. Yes youre absolutely right. You can never can tell if you did good/bad. When my computer shut off at 75 I was confident that I knew most of the topics being asked. I felt I did well. I was really praying that my computer should shut off at 75 since I knew most of the answers. But when I went home I doubted that thought. I realized most of the questions were basic and easy (ex. Asking the correct assessment of abdomen- that's IPPA or IAPP).. They said you have to encounter a lot of above average questions for you to pass. But I think that's not always the case. .Maybe I was just so lucky and blessed. Thank God.. :)
  19. UPDATE: I passed!! I am so HAPPY! Thank God. CONGRATS TO MY CO-USRNs
  20. Thanks for all the concern.. I know its not reliable. But in my own opinion the relief I felt using the PVT after 24 hours outweighs all the risk. I dont regret doing the PVT since i used deactivated card. It made me feel a bit relaxed for the remaining hours while waiting for the quick result. Im just so happy that I passed the exam! Confirmed it today at 7am.
  21. Is PVT illegal? I mean am I not allowed to do it? My quick result will be available in a few hours. I already stopped.
  22. I had Saunders app with 3000+ questions on it and Lippincott book which I used last January before coming here in the states. I didnt finish both. These were all the books suggested by my friends who basically passed it the first try 3-5 yrs ago(they were fresh grads that time). I did almost 3000 questions. But maybe bacause I wasnt focused enough that time I failed. I lackd content. The rachell allen course I attended was awesome. It compressed all the basic content that we have learned in school for 4 yrs in a 10day live course. That was what I needed. And now that I have a "good pop-up" on my screen. I cant wait to see my quick result. i hope its 99.9% reliable. Oh my.
