  1. Graduated 1 year ago, still no job

Im assuming that you are a RN? Did you try looking for jobs in Nursing Homes? Usually they have openings. Even if you can't work full time, you might want to start part time?
  2. Starting RN wage in Chicago, IL

Nursing home setting in our area. Typically would give you $28 as a new graduate. Getting a raise would take years and would be hard so I hope they give you $28. (RN)
  3. If you live in Illinois, this one's for you...

Northern Part of IL, they pay New RNs at 28, LPNS at 25. Not bad for new graduates, "experienced" Nurses earn more.
  4. Starting over and getting ready to retake the NCLEX. Help!

I would focus on Kaplan and read the rationales. Also, make sure you try to improve on the areas that you scored less. Saunders and Kaplan is too much if youre just brushing up the topics. Unless you want to cover everything. In my opinion.
  5. Poop in nursing

I have never seen so much poop in my life until I became a nurse. I have become a master of dulcolax suppositories. I also help our technicians clean some of the real messy incidents. Teamwork makes the job easier.
  6. SNF rehab unit 25 patients to one nurse

I've had more patients when I was still working in a SNF. The good thing was at least we had ward clerks, TX nurses. Good luck in finding for another job. But I feel it's going to be the same anywhere you move.
