Well nothing in the mail today. This is more stressful than the wait was for the meeting. Anybody else hear anything yet?

Lisa- I've not received anything yet. My mail for today has not yet come. The 12th is Friday, so we should have something soon, right?

I know, but she said there was a make-up meeting, however she also stated that she didn't believe there was anyone coming to the one tomorrow. Did anyone else by chance count how many people were in attendance today? I know, I wish I knew already, to...

The meeting was just to let people know how serious they should take the nursing program. It wasn't really anything I didn't already know. .....However I only counted 48 people......so does that mean that 18 of the people present won't get in or are ...

I think that's a good thing to weed people out. I mean, sorry if that's not nice, but cut out the people who don't REALLY want this. Trim off the dead weight so those that may not test well get their shot. Just because someone is great on paper doesn...

How's everyone's nerves and/or anxiety level? I haven't peaked yet.....my anxiety will probably peak on my drive to Waco.

Wow, 90 invitations, that is a lot of emails. Why are they holding a meeting though? I just have to wonder. This is so different than what they have done in previous years and highly different from what they did a few months ago for the Newnan campus...

So then this meeting is an extra big deal as I can not find where they have ever done it before.

If one of us called the school and asked how many people applied, would they tell us?

Did you receive an email about the meeting Monday? Do you know anybody else that applied to Murphy?

Yes....I mean getting the news of not getting in while at campus could be bad for the school....ppl going crazy or losing it..... So lets just conclude that this is good news....and we will be shaking hands with each other as fellow nursing students ...

Hmm....Send it via email....I guess for a paper trail? OR maybe the email helps track and print who should be in attendance, and who they are going to accept?

IT's interesting too on the one hand that the 2 other email addresses on my email were the Dean of Health Care science and a member of the RN dept. And that we were told to RSVP.....that HAS to mean something.

I want to be so positive and optimistic about it too....I want to think and feel that those that received the email, attend the meeting are in and we will be told of our acceptance and we will get all of our paper work etc. But then the other side of...
