But I don't know how long it takes. Still waiting. No need for livescan and transcript, need to pay $150 application fee.

Yes, Tseng. The orientation is for new transfers. I reserved a seat. I dont know why most seats have been taken, (from Aug.21 to Aug.29). My dates Aug. 27, which Sid kind of late, but I have nothing to do about it. My friend told me that probably because of my last name is Wang. I have no idea, just wait until late Augest.

Did anyone sign for the new student orientation? By the time I got my email, why there are only 2 days to choose from???

Ok, it is possible that u get the offer in July, because some schools give offers at a very late time, like CSUSB.Students might give away their offer at that time. Don't worry, I will let u know when I go to CSULA next time, and if u have questions, just let me know, I can ask.---------------- is good at replying emails, (from previous experiences). Be patient.

I think u'd better call the office to ask whether they got enough students or not;but the physical tests package has not been sent yet, probably they are still waiting for responses. I heard that students on the wait list probably won't get a refuse letter even they have enough students.

Hi, guys, I read the student handbook, it says we need to buy our personal health insurance. Where can I buy it, as cheap as possible? Since i don't think I have medication problems. Do you have any suggestions for the insurance? Thanks!

I will take a BLS for CPR as soon as possible, rather than wait for the package. How about the drug test, do u suggest to do it now, I can do it between June and July. Thank you again. Does anyone who accepted the nursing offer get the NURsing package for various tests for clinical class? Doesn't anyone know when can we start the tests?

Than you so much, Azhan. The infor helps a lot. The first quarter sounds like nightmare , so how do u suggest to prepare it since I have a loooong summer(about four months) this year? The letter says the orientation is just one day before fall starts, which doesn't make much sense to me. I went to the nursing office and the lady told me the nursing classes are reserved for us already, are we just goona fallow the set schedule? Or we can add 1 or 2 units as u said? As for preparation, do u suggest to purchase the books in advance? Or do u have any books from first year that I could borrow? I feel so nervous, and couldnot wAit to study? I found a roadmap schedule for nursing, are the classes goona be NURs100, 105,214,272,and273?
