Hey guys! The last interview with the nurse managers isn't bad at all so don't sweat it! I felt like it was the same as the second interview but easier!! Pretty much, it was me talking a lot about myself. Also, its one-on-one; no panel!

Dang. I am still waiting for my background check and drug screening. its been a week already. Don't know whats taking so long Its hard finding a place down there without proof of work. still waiting for that offer letter

cool! when I interviewed with the ortho nurse manager, she made it seem like that was where I am going to start. I did pick ortho as my specialty so who knows lol.

For those who already got offers, did you guys get an offer letter with all the details or was it a conditional offer contingent on a background check, drug screening, etc.

the skilled survey is a reference check (I had to list 5 references). I also gave my info to do the background check and they are mailing me the info for the drug screen. Not sure why the extra step haha I was assuming everyone else was doing this

It is very saturated up here with new graduates. The new grad programs that I have seen consistently are Stanford, UCSF and UC Davis. Many of these programs also want BSN graduates so its gonna be tough with an ADN.
