I was offered a position on the step down icu unit last Friday for the new grad program :) I am so excited!! I was told that there were over 600 applicants and the hospital hired only 17!

I just got a phone call and I have an interview on the step down icu on the 27th!!! Ahh...so exciting!

My friend heard around 10:30 and then I got a call at 3:30!! I got the position!! And so did two other girls I know. They are hiring only 15 new grads to start in July. They are still choosing the next 15 that they are hiring for the September cohort...

I applied to Med Surg and haven't heard anything besides the initial email saying my application was moving on to be reviewed by the floor manager.

I had my interview and I feel like it went great! I found out that they will be hiring 2 different cohorts. 15-20 in July and another 15-20 in September.

The information that I've seen says May. If the hospital opens in August, they will want us completely trained before that!

Oh and I asked how many applicants were taking the assessment and they told me 200. That number may seem high but there were 500 at the open house, so they cut it down pretty quickly! Good luck everyone!

From my understanding, only those who attended the job fair were asked to take the assessment.
