I start Monday, and I am scared too! Terrified actually. I am also taking out student loans to help with the bills while I am in school, that allows me to cut my hours at work. Is that an option for you? Hang in there. You can do it!!

I asked that question at a LTC facility one time, and they acted like they were thrilled that someone would want to only work weekends. Apparently they rotate the weekends, and if someone wants to, that lets others off the hook! lol

I know at my hospital all of these jobs are different. We have EKG techs, phlebotomists, and PCT's. I guess you would need to decide which one you want because they don't overlap. At least not at my hospital. PCT will be the closest thing to CNA....

I guess I don't really know why they HAVE to know that, its personal. On the other hand, are you afraid you might be unsafe for the patients? If not, I don't see why they need to know. I could be wrong, just my opinion. :)
