It is sad not having hospital deal with this issue...they just pass it on to their front line workers(nurses)....our security at work is not the greatest, and they are quite old.

most annoying people, been there, I always tel we treat all of our patients the same respect , and if thay are not happy I usually give them #s of management. social worker...any other #s they would like....

I have noticed the same thing at work, it is sad they are not willing to learn more, they want to do less, sit and complain.

Silly question ....why didn't the RT , who came at change of shift, write the incident report....I would have told this RT...if you want an incident report...feel free to write one....

Wow sorry for the bad experience you had...most agency nurses I have worked with are very professional....you do have the odd one who thinks she is perfect....

We used to have many hall beds, but now we only have 2...we do try not to use them.....but sometimes , when triaging you might put a patient on 1 till you find another spot...

I would have done as canoehead said, personally being a new grad I would have asked another nurse for her input , before calling the physician.

I'm so sorry for you, what a croc, nurses are always guilty and then they have to prove their innocence.I will certainly pray for you and hope they believe you. You had so much on your mind, human error does happen. So true about not being able to...
