I chose it based on their NCLEX passing score. I'm actually closer to Tomball, but not by much. So for those that applied to the transition program, did you apply with the 12 point system like I did or with the new 8 point system?

Don't get down yet, it's the first day, I'm sure they'll send out more notifications tomorrow. Sending you all lots of hugs, positive thoughts and prayers.

The 29th is for the transition program, my bad, I didn't want anyone getting more antsy. My friend knows someone that works in the nursing department/office and she let her see the schedule, so that's where that date came from.

So a friend told me that the mandatory orientation at Montgomery is April 29th, so I would hope that they give people enough notice to arrange for child care and time off if they're working.

I am licensed already and applied to the transition program, I received the blue card today. I completed the LVN program at Kingwood and didn't get fingerprinted until after I was accepted, but I'm not sure if that's how it works for the basic track ...

I applied for the transition program, so I'm already licensed, when I applied and they didn't ask for it, I just assumed that they were going to use my previous one. This one came as a surprise.

If you have your anatomy book, go to the summary part after each chapter and study those, that helped me a great deal in passing the HESI. I hope today is the day we all get our acceptance notification. I know the wait is KILLING me.

I applied to Montgomery and it was the 12pt system as well. I printed mine from their website and someone looked it over when I dropped it off and didn't mention any problems, so I'm betting you'll be fine.
