I have no doubt this woman does zero patient care, does not work at a hospital and probably works at a nurse-temp agency who preferred to hire a nurse, but instead hired her.

That is good information tg982! This process has been a bit nerve wrecking. Well, I hope we both get the job! So would you say it is safe to guess that if we receive a call (Monday like last time or today) then it means we might have the position?

Fingers crossed! I was hoping to hear today, but it looks like perhaps Monday they will make some calls. I have several friends who have gone through the Versant/Dameron hiring process and they have all said it is painfully slow!

I haven't heard anything yet. I know that the program starts March 1st-ish and I'm sure they have a lot of applicants to sort through (I heard over 800!). I have applied to 200 positions so far...this is nuts!

Each floor, facility, hospital, co-worker and patient we encounter is different. It sounds like you need to find a job at a different facility with a better, more supportive environment. Good luck with your next chapter...don't ever settle!

Nice to hear those words indeed. Either way, I don't ever think it's appropriate to say "you should have known better" to a patient...or anyone for that matter.
