At all three of my interviews I have been asked to describe situations in which I handled conflict well, and to talk about my strengths and weaknesses. Also at all three jobs I interviewed for I was taken through a case scenario. Two of those times it was shoulder dystocia--the mnemonic for corrective measures, how I would explain it to the patient and partner, and in the more rural hospital, they also asked who I would stay with if the mother started to PPH and the baby was limp and blue at delivery (always stay with your primary patient!). Be ready for more intensive scenarios (PPH, shoulders, possibly NRP initiation scenarios, PE, seizures etc). Good preparation is to keep in mind your staffing ratios on the floor (or ask what resources you are likely to have available beforehand--ie another RN always at delivery or do you have to call the nursery? Do your OBs have NRP? How far away are your RTs and anesthetists? How long would you be required to manage a scenario before help arrived?). It's hard to say not knowing what they covered in your first interview. And I've never been through a two-interview process either!
