Arghhhhh...I HATE the BD Autoguard catheters! I bet it’s not just you. I’ve worked with the Smith catheters and am very proficient and experienced when it comes to IVs( on the IV specialty team throughout the hospital). We just switched to these and ...
I am stresses to no avail...I'll make this brief. Situation occurred at work where a patient had an anaphylactic reaction and I just happened to be standing there. Provider ordered me to get Benadyrl IM immediately from the Pyxis. You can't pull with...
No, I didn't write anything down. The actual patient wasn't in the system yet as he was just brought into the unit. I'm sure they said HIPAA which is the reasoning for having to meet w the privacy officer.
Prettyladie, DM me. Are you experienced in ER? If so, I'd think you could be hired directly onto the unit vs going through a residency. Starting for an rn 1 is close to $28 and goes up from there....

Prettyladie...everything you just said was correct. I have a few friends in ER that juice for info, but they don't know much else. I do know that interviews are done. And I saw at LEAST a hundred diff apps that were put in....
Hoping 0830,They will be done interviewing on Wednesday of this week for the ER positions. They still have the Burn ICU, NNICU, and L&D residencies posted. I was actually told I could have a position in NNICU but declined because I don't want to ...
I currently work for PMH and they began ER Residency interviews today. There are 22-27 spots. From my understanding, decisions will be made by December 7. Good luck to you all. The staff is amazing!
