I feel like I should leave a follow up comment with my experience, in the interest of full disclosure, related to this facility. The DON was replaced shortly before I started, not very long ago. I was hired as a New Grad RN to the subacute floor. ...

That sounds awful- when you are able to pm message me so you can be more candid. I'm happy to say -so far- my experience has been vastly different but I appreciate being able to go in eyes wide open.

Did they let you decide how much orientation you got? It appears that they are more "together" now but I appreciate your input and sharing your experience. What floor were you on?

I'm orienting on the meadows side currently- PM me if you don't mind! I'd happily share my experience thus far and I would love to hear more about yours! When you were hired was it still a Kindred facility?

That, I have no idea about. I'm sure a wait list will eventually be formed, perhaps after the deposit deadline? I would not say it means anything definitively either way.

I don't know how many spots there are for the full time program, but I'm sure it is also competitive. The part time program is extremely competitive, so if you may want to consider not only applying to both cohorts but also to both campuses. In the p...
The criteria for applicants at Quincy College recently changed so I think those that had to take the Teas are currently receiving their letters. I can say I am a current student -pre Teas- with a 3.7 gpa. Feel free to pm me if you like. Are you int...

Yes, 100%. I think the first group of applicants under the new criteria are going through the process now. Unfortunately I'm not sure when decisions will be made so I can't offer better info for the OP... Sorry, good luck on your applications though...

Try to be flexible, apply to any program you think you can make work. You never know which program you'll get into (hopefully multiple!) and how your life may change in the time spent waiting to begin. I wish you all the best, good luck!
