Is there anyone out there that is currently attending or recently graduated from University of St Francis Joliet? I would like some insight on their program.
Just curious...how are you liking the new job??? I have an interview tomorrow for an L&D position and I am super nervous. I have been trying to get a job in L&D since I graduated over a year ago and I finally landed an interview.
How does everyone feel about the new ebook format for nursing classes? I personally am excited because I love ebooks. They're so much more convenient for me.
I don't like reading from my laptop either but I do like reading on my iPad or iPad mini. My iPad mini fits easily into my purse and I can pull out my "book" wherever I am. I love it.
Basically, they go over your transcripts with you and determine what gen ed courses you still need. Then they give the options of days and times and you pick what works best for you if it's still available.
There were three options for NR 101 on campus or you could take it online. I don't have the paper with me because I'm on vacation but I'm in the class on Monday from 11-1:50.
I heard back two weeks after taking the Hesi that I was accepted. My next step is to meet with the financial advisor and do the background/drug screen which I'm doing on Tuesday.
I also plan on attending this program in fall 2013. I attended the open house a few months ago and it seems like a very well organized program. Other than that I don't really know much about the program since it is fairly new.
