Hey reecicup, Do we have to wear our uniforms to all labs?

Thank you Reecicup, I will be starting 224, 281, and 302 may session and I am nervous bcus I still have to work. Can you tell me if we are going to need all those text books listed on the bookstore website for each class

You will need to get the BLS for healthcare providers card. It is not the same as the CPR card.

Does anyone know when, where and at what time the next BLS session will be?

Thats what I hear and make sure you buy good quality nursing shoes too. Walking alot requires good supportive shoes....foot and back problems are no joke.

you can get nursing shoes from all heart.com or amazon ...anywhere that sells nursing uniforms.

oh I found the uniform try on days 1/29/13 1:00-4:00 rooms 221&223 1/30/13 9:00 -1:00 rooms 211 &223

They discussed our uniform requirements for clinicals, we have to be clinically compliant by match 1st. Can't have long nails, no nail polish, no unatural color hair, one piercing allowed on ears, no tongue rings, where to fax our clinical packets to...

I made it on friday after missing it on monday. I think you may have to either contact the clinical coordinator or advisor about rescheduling.

oh wow ugh uh I live in stone mountain it should take me 25 minutes to get there... I was left an hour early and was 20 minutes late for clinical compliance orientation...then the instructor would not let us in...there were more of us outside than in...

lol mee too! and the traffic to go there is crazy in the mornings I may have to move.

are they complaining about the work load or professors?

I am taking 101 online it is fairly easy....222 online is a lot of posting and self study. if you manage your time well, dont procrastinate you will do well.

Does anyone remember the name of the place we can take our BLS? The price was like $22 but I cannot remember the name!

I dont know of anyone taking chemistry but I have taken it before Im pretty good at it too if you need some help I will be more than happy to help. The best way to approach it is to read the text and try to use youtube on topics you are not quite sur...

@angelgh yes maam no social life for me....work work work!!! Do you think its a good Idea to buy a different edition of the textbook they want us to use? I seen the 6th edition of Health promotions through the lifespan at barnes and nobles for $4.54!...

Yea she was there with us last night too. She was very helpful and made think about how I will approach these classes. Im going to have to get creative and use your resources...and pray!
