  16. I'm a Caribbean nurse trying to get a job after passing the NCLEX through my own efforts and finance. Getting a job by oneself seems like a daunting process especially in the mind of my colleagues. I was considering getting a visascreen then coming into the US to get a job. I need as much advice as I can get. Please help me. Apparently this website does not allow me to send private messages as I'm new to posting here but perhaps you could initiate a private conversation if you're so inclined. Trying to use LinkedIn and other means to network. Thanks
  17. My thoughts in getting a visascreen before leaving my home country would be that given its duration it would allow me to search for a job in the country without hassle while looking for a job. It's kinda hard looking for a job online
  18. Thanks. Currently in a job in my home country. What tips do/can you suggest in terms of résumé Preparation and job search?
  19. Is it possible that we could speak by private message?
  20. Thanks again. Visa priority date depends on paperwork processed by immigration lawyer or employer?
  21. Thanks. Why should I wait until I've identified an employer before I get a Visascreen? I do appreciate your advice. I just would like to understand your perspective more. Thanks again
  22. Thanks for replying. Do you know of anyone who could provide mentorship after getting the visascreen? E g. What steps did they take in successfully getting a job after getting the visascreen? Most nurses in my home country are using recruiters but I would want to try it on my own. The process seems daunting and I'm not being advised to go forward with my attempt at getting a visascreen then seeking a job
