Caribbean nurse 3+ med surg experience

I'm a Caribbean nurse trying to get a job after passing the NCLEX through my own efforts and finance. Getting a job by oneself seems like a daunting process especially in the mind of my colleagues. I was considering getting a visascreen then coming into the US to get a job. I need as much advice as I can get. Please help me. Apparently this website does not allow me to send private messages as I'm new to posting here but perhaps you could initiate a private conversation if you're so inclined. Trying to use LinkedIn and other means to network. Thanks

I am far from an expert, but I believe the wait to get into the US on a work Visa is super long right now. I do know you will need sponsorship from an employer. There are a lot of nurses from places like Philippines and India who come over on work Visas. You may wish to seek them out to find out how it all works.

Visa screen certificate will not allow you to stay in the US whilst looking for work and going through the visa process. All you can really do is contact hospitals and ask about sponsorship
