The Commuter: Do you feel 16 hour shifts are safe? How did you make it through such a long shift? I am glad to hear it can be done. I am a mother doing pre reqs and i'm excited to soon be in a nursing program.

Are weekend double shifts hard to come by?

I think it is normal to doubt yourself. Do yourself a favor and finish nursing school. There are so many specialities no doubt you'll be able to find your knack!

I am also applying to Alvin's LVN program for 2014. I have all the steps completed for the application besides my Hesi. I am taking it on dec 4. A 92 is a really good score, I'm sure you have a good chance. I heard about 200 or so applied but lots do...

I just got a call today and I'm accepted into the program!! :) I'm so excited and happy!! :)

Wait so for the Lvn program at San Jac South they look at your gpa as well as hesi? I thought they only looked at your test score... I made an overall score of 88 on my hesi but my gpa is not that great. I am applying for spring 2013.
