OMG really? Wow - it's only like $7K at TCC and about $11K at Sentara. Twenty-seven thousand? Wow, that just null'd it for me. No way - I'll go a little longer and pay at least half that.

Loans - you dont pay til 6 months after you graduate. Scholarships ... ?

I personally think Micro was more difficult because you HAD to know how to do the procedures and memorize the results/reagents, etc. I do think A&P was more TIME intensive though. I honestly dont think A&P was hard and I'm somewhat disgruntled that I let myself get freaked out by everyone saying how difficult it is. I dont think it's difficult - I think it's VERY, VERY time consuming and if that's your idea of difficult - then yes, it's REALLY difficult. I enjoyed it.

I couldnt go back to previous questions. I did finish my reading - I didnt feel crunched in time. Maybe because I read fast? I did REALLY well on my test. I was very happy!

I was an MT for 8 years. Some through hospitals, clinics - some thru home. I hated it. My butt got big and I grew to despise it. It's not as easy as some people make it sound - you have to listen to what is being said so it's really not that easy to do with little kids running around. Especially when you get paid by how much you produce. To each their own - I'm glad I got out.

Yes, I do sit up front AND tape it. I got one wrong on my quiz today. Yes, that's good but dang it!! I got it wrong over something stupid too! HAHA I hate that when I see a few words and think "Oh, I know that!" and put an answer down and what happens is that I don't fully read the question and I got it wrong because she switched one word in it. Grrr My stupidity though. Taught me to slow down and read the questions fully though.

I would venture to guess that the reason these students buy them from the book store is because of federal pell grants, etc. You can charge your books there. I got Pell grants my 1st semester and I didn't have cash at the time to purchase them offline so I had to buy them from the bookstore where it would go on my "account" and when my Pell grant came in, it'd pay that bill off. Yep, I looked for used books in awesome condition but that's what I had to do to make it to class. I didnt buy pens/notebooks there - but I have seen others do it. I'm not paying $7 for a 3 subject notebook. Walmart, here I come! If I am paying out of pocket (like these past few semesters), I do look online. Our campus has no problems giving out ISBN numbers. I got my Anatomy book off ebay for $63 total and it was $165 at the campus store.

I use flashcards too. I also sit in my kitchen with the dryer going and when I am studying, I set the buzzer to go off. When it does, I take a small break & fold the laundry and stretch. Then I do another session & so forth. I know it sounds weird but it works!! I can easily do two loads of laundry a day here so I get my laundry done AND study! LOL
