Congrats! I applied to this today but I think it's a little late since it starts soon. I'm surprised the job is still posted.

I work in inpatient dialysis. I was hired as a new grad. We are closed Sunday's and major holidays (thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). I only have to work every other Saturday and I don't have to work nights. I get paid the same as a regular nurse....

So North Shore has posted two fellowships in their careers section. Thought I'd start a thread to see who else has applied and if anyone has heard back.

I never knew any academic advisors...they have like 2 for all 10,000 students. You basically are your own academic advisor.

Oh and btw I got my acceptance in January...but it ranges from January all the way up til the start of the program (depending on how many spots they fill)

The woman I interviewed with said there are 7-9 spots available between LIJ and manhasset for the ED fellowship.

How do you know? I just called and they said they haven't even done the 2nd interviews yet.

Who did you hear that from? Are you talking about the critical care fellowship or the ED fellowship?
