Is platt accredited? If so I might check out their program depending on price and length of time.

I hated comp classes! They take the fun out of reading and writing lol rent your textbooks if you can.

For the bsn program I'm applying to, I also have to take psych, dev psych, and an upper division course.

I haven't been to any clinicals but if your damp hair is in a bun, the dampness probably isn't too noticeable right? I have curly hair too and have gotten away with that in professional environments ^_^

I'm in THE SAME BOAT and it sucks, I know. When I went to a community college straight out of high school the advisors say 'get your associate's degree!' but they don't mention that it will be harder to get aid later on -____- 4 year universities are...

Have you called to see where you were on the alternate's list? You might be able to squeeze some info out of them to see if it is likely for you to get "the call" or not. I like Bloomgirl118's idea to register for other classes, too.
