Heading to Chicago for immersion in 3 weeks!!!

I'm in the FNP program at Chamberlain, we were given almost 2 months notice to plan travel. Immerson weekend is at the Addison campus week 7 of the Health Assessment course

They are working on it, however they told me these are the places we have a contract with locate a person, most people have said no and the ones that said yes are in specialities and I need family practice

Hi Ladies, I'm currently in my 2nd year of the FNP program at Chamberlain. I'm starting Advanced Health Assessment July 7. Try to find preceptors early. It's the hardest part of the program. I start clinicals in Sept and still do not have a preceptor...

It's been a while but I think in addition to the message boards there are 3 papers to write in health policy

Beegee patho and pharm are not so bad

Mostly reading and some power points. Learning is mostly through message boards

Core classes were papers, papers, and more papers. Patho had weekly tests, pharm was amazing learned alot Professors really want the students to succeed! I love Chamberlain

I'm also in Chamberlain's FNP program I started last October in the core classes as I was already enrolled in the education track. I've taken advanced Patho, Pharm, and now Leadership, good luck

I live in Jax, there are jobs available for experienced OB nurses, recently 2 hospitals gave pay raises based on experience good luck

I live in Jax and work at UF Health, I love it here, we have several large hospitals in the area.

It's be easy until patho, I have the same preceptor for the first 2 classes if she gets approved

I'm at chamberlain online and my courses are in line with my friends who attend class. I assure you it's not easy, having the knowledge to pass boards and practice safely is everyone's end goal.

I'm in the FNP program now, it's new and just started in September. I won't be doing clinical a until this upcoming September but am working in finding preceptors now

Took first quiz today awaiting results follows assigned reading chapters and wasn't as bad as I'd expected!

Quizzes every week, lots of reading, a midterm exam and final exam. The usual message boards, I'm thankful for preview week!

I've been in the Chamberlain MSN program for a year now. I changed to the FNP when it became available. I'm in NR 507, Advanced Patho now, NR 501 abd NR 506 are both not bad classes just lots of papers, good luck!

I'm a mother baby night shift charge nurse and I can assure you that at my hospital it is never boring. I work in a large university hospital and we are constantly getting admits, teaching, and helping new mom's from early teens to mid 40's

Our babies have to have 2 good temps of 36.5 and above. they spend the first hr of life bonding then come to our nursery for bath and assessment then back to mom.
