what ever your HPSA score when you apply is what u have.. If it drops during the contract it does not effect you.

Was about 2-3 weeks after I got finalist email til contract was signed... Still plenty if time for everyone

FYI .. when it applied 2. Years ago I was under review until August. Then went to award finalist.. Then found out around end of August first was awarded . If u get finalist, u should feel really good.. Don't stress about still being under review...

No, it a very very long process

I have had a good run. My admin was really good about signing my 6 month verifications quickly so i never had any problems.. Lots of getting paper work for cont contract. Its important to check everything several times before you send it.. You can be in tier 1 200% D/I ratio and if you make a mistake on application, your done.. Check and recheck.

I got reward two years ago and am applying for 3rd year cont contract this year. I read everything that micah.. posted and i believe it to be very accurate.

As far as i know, i dont think they have ever gotten to the third tier..

Amy... I got awarded last year and received that same email u got. This is very, very good news for you. It's not a guarantee but I don't remember anyone from last year who got the email that was not awarded.

go to HRSA - Find Shortage Areas: HPSA & MUA/P by Address - Version 2.0 to figure out your HPSA score.. Then go to page http://www.hrsa.gov/loanscholarships/repayment/nursing/guidance.pdf to see wht tier you are in.. I think its on page 12

I would just keep applying. Who knows what could happen

I believe u r looking in right place. I'm not sure that everybody that got an epl and credit check got it or not... As far as timing I started really worrying over summer. It a very omg process. Made lot of friends chatting on other board. Helped with the worrying knowing there were others. Good luck guys!

The main thing to be looking for at this point would be,,,,,, credit check and excluded party list . Or the epl. I applies last year and got it. Would be more than happy to answer any questions u guys have

I ask the rep that to.. She said that people whos contract started in sept will not get deposit till november.. But it will contain back pay for oct. the guys who contract started before sept are different. that why they have gotten deposits.. At least thats what they told me.

Not sure?? I have called and emailed them so much the last few months im to embarrassed to call again. they know me by first name at this point
