I would be willing to bet there isn't a single sporting goods store on the planet that would carry a cup to fit the massive set she grew that night... Way to go! :bowingpur

You just don't get it...this has NOTHING to do with that nurse...this has EVERYTHING to do with your poor attitude and your lack of responsibility. Nobody gives a flying fig about what that nurse does or doesn't do in her spare time...and it's no one...
Reading your post, I'm reminded of a similar situation that occurred when I was an aide. I had a lady who was a feeder and was also frequently incontinent. One evening after helping her with supper, I checked her undergarment--sure enough, she needed...
Whenever I've taken a drug test, I've always had an opportunity to list the medications (prescription or otherwise) that I have taken so they know ahead of time in case it shows up in my sample. Did they not ask you the same thing?
I'm sorry this happened to you...although I haven't stuck myself with a contaminated needle, I was exposed to a pt's blood, and it came in contact with an open sore I had on my thumb. Getting tested was definitely scary; I went through the typical em...

It's bad enough when things are so busy during a regular 8 hr shift that you can't get away for even a few minutes, but it really sucks when you're forced to double, and you STILL can't get a break in. I did a night to day double for 18.5 hours yeste...

Oops...forgot to mention that I did ask another (experienced) nurse first, and we tried to find documentation of the tube measurement, but couldn't find it...she also thought it would be a good idea to call the physician just to be safe.
I am a newer nurse ( My question is, did I overreact by calling the MD? Was it appropriate for the other nurse to push the tubing in? BTW, the KUB showed that the tube placement was fine.

i don't think you "blew" your chances of getting into nursing school...many people (myself included) have issues with math or science, and some need a little help now and then. you said you can take the math again in january? in that case, this isn't...
