I wouldnt worry about that stuff! I did not take any pre reqs at alvin, i live out of district, & i also had withdrawn from a class. it doesnt hurt to try the worst is you dont get in & still end up trying for fall.

I agree with jehowell.... I had Bs in both A&Ps but As in everything else . & i didn,t take dosage calculations either.... but your grades sound better than mine. they do only accept 30 in the spring, but not as many apply! i applied last spr...

My ACT was a 45 for reading & english portion, i have a 3.5 GPA but that is overall. i am not sure what my GPA was for just nursing classes. i also have all of the pre reqs finished.

Even after today, there is still a chance. things could fall through for some one, or someone could live closer to san jac & that was their first choice, but their letters dont go out until the 1st. yall still have a chance!

Does anyone know if it is ok to just turn in the shot record & not the sheet from ACC too??!!

When are you getting your titer?!? im sure it will be pos. but on the letter they sent with the acceptance letter it has flu not due until after aug. 25th. i kept that immunization record sheet just for that since i already had one filled out !

Also has anyone done the background check yet?!? i did it like a week ago but i am not sure if the nursing office recieved it. do they send you a letter or anything showing they got it??

I just got the titer for hep b & no we do not need the flu vaccine yet. they said it was best to wait until the new series comes out. & as far as the vaccines go i brought my shot record with me to get my shots done & the nurses would not...

Yep got my acceptance letter just now!!

10 days isnt bad! it should be less since there are alot less applicants to go through! 73 less apps to be exact!

San jacs letters go out july 1st, & yeah i think it will be next week too !! hopefully it will be early next week lol

Yeah i was wondering if anyone had called to see when exactly letters are going out. all i know is it is within a week or 2 of the deadline, but with only 92 applicants i have a feeling it will be sooner rather than later!!
