I tried to get one of two OR nurse extern positions. There are hired ADNs there, so I know Scottish Rite doesn't have a problem with ADN, but there were over 100 applicants for 14 positions overall....

L&D was 3rd floor. Just clear it ahead of time with Ms. P to see if you can do caths as long as the nurse is there for L&D. That's the only way you can do it in L&D.....most of them...

PDA: Pocket PC or Palm Pilot. There are all kinds of software available.....ex: drug books, nursing calculators, nursing diagnosis, med/surg manuals, etc. Some are free......some are definitely not...
