Well guys, They are placing my grandma on Tuesday, earlier than expected, my mom called my so many times at work last night crying......so I am heading out sooner than I thought. I will keep you all updated.

Lori, Like you I was at work until 10am finishing up the paperwork on those falls..........I was able to talk to my DON that morning also and that really helped. Two of my falls were preventable....1 pt had been left on the toilet so long she decide...

Lori, I am so sorry you have had such a terrible night. I also work in a LTC facility, and when it rains it pours.....the most falls I have had on my shift is 4....and that drove me to tears......b/c on the 11-7 shift we do not have a supervisor..it...

I work in a 63 bed facilty....1 floor has 30, and the other 33.....a nurse for each floor with 3 stna's. and then a nursing supervisor......who does the labs, rounds with the doc's, and falls, skin tears, tx's, admits, or send outs....I do not think ...

Congrats...I quit smoking.....7 yrs ago....had to do it cold turkey.....tried all the patches, gum etc...nothing worked.....so cold turkey was the way to go....I have never looked back. I do not miss it.....you have to find the best way for you.....G...

Like all the other comments so far....I also like to stock the cart to my liking. I work 12 hour shifts....so for those 12 hours the cart is mine....as long as I stock it, and empty the trash for the oncoming nurse....I really do not see why I should...
