Don't give up or be discouraged! Keep looking! It took me two months to land a LTC job when I graduated LPN school & that was through someone I knew. Now as an BSN-RN, I'm still at all of the jobs that hired me on as an LPN so I'm blessed but I'v...

Hey Wavey. Congrats on the interview! Try glassdoor for the hospital you're interviewing with. Maybe you will find something there. What hospital is the interview with?

4 weeks orientation & ratios anywhere from 1:15-1:60. It's not as bad as it sounds though. I've been in LTC for 3 years now starting as an LPN for 1 1/2 years. I have my BSN now & I am itching for some acute care hospital experience. Good lu...
This is so obvious to me I didn't realize that I would have to elaborate on wht I was implying & I never asked for a comparison. Go find someone else's post to scrutinize. Thnx again!
Hello all! I'm scheduled to start the Periop program at DCCC in the fall, but HUP's Gateway to the OR would be so much better for me right now! Anybody have insight on HUP's Gateway to the OR?
That's obvious & I'm very competent. It's a job posting that you apply for. If hired, you're oriented just as you would for ANY position. What I asked for was insight. Meaning if anyone that has been hired & gone thru the program at HUP had a...

I went LPN to RN to BSN simply because things didn't work out as planned. I went to Community College & then transferred to a 4 year University but had to drop out because of 25K a year out of state tuition. I couldnt transfer to another 4 year b...
My qbanks were just about similar to yours & I passed 1st time at 19@ questions & ran out of time. I also ran out of time during every single Q bank test I took. Take kaplan as seriously as possible! Good Luck!
I strongly recommend Home Health. These are opinions from experienced professionals & we know the field. I hope that you look at what's in front of you now and take the higher paying job instead of regretting it later. Nothing is really considere...
My grades were similar to yours. I passed last month in 199 questions after I ran out of time! I had become lazy & frustrated at that point. But if I passed, so will you! Good luck
I took my June 25th. I ran out of time at 199 questions. I was sure that I failed. Drove home 30minutes later and tried the trick. Good Pop Up!! My license was issued yesterday. I would just take some deep breaths and go into this thing confident. Cr...
Tested 6/25 @ 8am. Ran out of time at 199, 6 hours later. Took one short break. Good pop up 30 minutes after I tested. Was, still 1000% sure that I failed. Moped around for 48hrs & finally quick results were avail. Name still isn't up on the PA B...
Thank you for the reply!! My anxiety is just so overwhelming sometimes. (Most times) Were Kaplan SATA more difficult than NCLEX in your opinion? What did you get the most of besides SATA. Thnx!
Do the PV Trick right now! Log into Pearson Vue & try to register again. If you get a pop up saying that you've already registered and doesn't allow you to get to the credit card page, you passed! Good luck!
